Classic Stories Never Die
Once upon a time, there was an emperor who loved new clothes. One day, two cheats came and said, 'We can make magic clothes that only clever people can see.' The emperor was stupid and believed them. He walked in the street with no clothes at all!
从前，有个爱穿新衣服的皇帝。一天，两个骗子来了，说："我们能做出只有聪明人才能看见的神奇衣服。"皇帝很愚蠢，相信了他们。他竟光着身子走上大街！
Everyone was silent at first because nobody wanted to look silly. Then a little child shouted, 'But he has nothing on!' The truth came out, and the emperor felt ashamed. This story, 'The Emperor's New Clothes,' teaches us to be honest and brave.
起初大家都沉默，因为没人想显得愚蠢。这时一个小孩喊道："可他什么也没穿呀！"真相大白，皇帝羞愧难当。这个故事《皇帝的新装》教我们诚实勇敢。
There are many other classic stories, too. A brave prince saves a princess from a magic stone. A kind servant with a golden voice wins the heart of the king. A stepmother is unfair to her stepsister, but kindness always wins in the end.

Why do we still read these stories today? Because they show us the truth about life. Classic stories are like old friends: they dress up in different ways, but they always tell us to be good, honest and kind.
