Talking with Parents
Jack is a teenager, and he loves playing computer games. Last week, he argued with his parents again because they didn't allow him to play games on weekdays. Jack was upset and angry. He thought his parents didn't understand him at all.
杰克是个青少年，他爱玩电脑游戏。上周，他又和父母吵架了，因为父母不让他工作日玩游戏。杰克又难过又生气，觉得父母完全不理解他。
The next day, Cozy老师 talked with Jack. 'You should communicate with your parents, not fight,' she said. 'Explain your feelings and listen to their worries. Communication is a two-way street.' Jack agreed to try.
第二天，Cozy老师与杰克谈心。"你应该和父母沟通，而不是争吵，"她说，"解释你的感受，倾听他们的担忧。沟通是双向的。"杰克同意试试。
That evening, Jack wrote a letter to his parents. He explained why he liked games and promised to finish homework first. To his surprise, his parents accepted his decision. They also agreed to give him one hour of game time every weekend.

Now Jack and his parents trust each other more. When problems come, they sit down and discuss them together. Jack learned that a good relationship needs patience, understanding and honest communication. Anger never solves problems; talking does.
