A Day at the National Museum
Last Saturday, our class visited the National Museum. The palace-like building was fascinating from the outside. Inside, the halls were full of valuable treasures from thousands of years ago.
上周六，我们班参观了国家博物馆。宫殿般的建筑从外面看就很迷人。馆内的大厅里满是数千年前的珍贵宝藏。
Our guide took us to the history hall first. We saw ancient coins, stamps and postcards from the last century. There were also beautiful costumes, handbags and earrings that ladies wore long ago.
导游先带我们去了历史厅。我们看到了古代钱币、上个世纪的邮票和明信片。还有很久以前女士们穿戴的美丽服装、手提包和耳环。
The most mysterious hall was about burial customs. We learned how our ancestors were buried and how scientists made the discovery. Stonehenge, the famous stones in Britain, was shown in a big photo.
