An Accident on the Way to School
Last Monday, Li Lei rode his bicycle to school. When he was turning at a corner, he hit a stone and fell down. His knee was hurt and his nose was bleeding. 'What's the matter?' a passer-by asked. Li Lei was in trouble.
上周一，李雷骑自行车上学。在拐角转弯时，他撞上一块石头摔倒了。膝盖受伤，鼻子流血。"怎么了？"路人问。李雷遇到了麻烦。
His classmate Han Mei saw the accident. She ran over quickly and put a bandage on his knee. 'Don't move. I'll call the nurse,' she said. She stayed calm and in control of the situation.
同学韩梅看到了事故。她飞快跑过来，用绷带给他包扎膝盖。"别动，我去叫护士，"她说。她保持冷静，掌控着局面。
At the school clinic, the nurse cleaned the blood and checked him carefully. 'It's not serious, but you should rest today,' she said. Li Lei felt sorry for being careless. 'I should be more careful next time,' he said to himself.
在学校医务室，护士仔细清洗血迹并给他检查。"不严重，但今天应该休息，"她说。李雷后悔自己粗心。"下次我要更小心，"他对自己说。
That evening, Li Lei told his parents about his experience. His mother said, 'Always be careful, my boy. Don't take risks on the road.' Li Lei nodded and decided to ride more slowly. Safety always comes first.
