Jack's Bad Day
This morning, Jack woke up with a sore throat. He also had a fever and a bad headache. 'What's the matter?' his mother asked. 'I feel sick,' Jack said. He coughed a lot, and his temperature was 38.5 degrees.
今天早上，杰克醒来时嗓子疼。他还发烧，头疼得厉害。"怎么了？"妈妈问。"我很难受，"杰克说。他咳得很厉害，体温38.5度。
His mother took him to the hospital. The doctor checked him and said, 'You have a cold. You should rest and take some medicine three times a day.' A nurse gave Jack the medicine and told him to drink more water.
妈妈带他去了医院。医生给他检查后说："你感冒了。应该休息，每天吃三次药。"护士给了杰克药，并让他多喝水。
At home, Jack lay down on the bed. He remembered his toothache last week and his visit to the dentist. 'If I exercise more and eat well, I won't get sick so often,' he said to himself.
回到家，杰克躺在床上。他想起上周牙疼去看牙医的事。"如果我多锻炼、好好吃饭，就不会经常生病了，"他对自己说。
After two days of rest, Jack felt much better. He learned that health is the most important thing in life. 'Don't take your health lightly,' he told his friends. 'When you are sick, medicine helps, but good habits help more.'
休息两天后，杰克感觉好多了。他明白了健康是人生中最重要的事。"不要轻视健康，"他告诉朋友们，"生病时药能帮忙，但好习惯帮得更多。"
